Alcohol Policy
The Nashville Sounds work hard to promote responsible sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages. All guests purchasing alcohol who appear to be less than 30 years old must present a valid ID. No alcohol will be sold to intoxicated guests. Guests passing alcohol to minors will be ejected and may be ticketed. Guests possessing alcohol who do not have proof of being 21 or older may be ejected. We reserve the right to refuse the sale of alcohol to any guest. Alcoholic beverages may not be brought into the ballpark.

Autographs
Fans who enter the park prior to game time may go down to the dugouts and ask for autographs. Autographs are left to the player's discretion.

Batting Practice
All are invited to watch batting practice when Greer Stadium's gates open (please see Gate Opening Times).

Birthday at the Ballpark
Celebrate your special day at Greer Stadium with the Nashville Sounds (click here for package info). Each birthday child receives recognition over the public address system and scoreboard, and has the entire stadium sing "Happy Birthday" to them!

Bus/RV Parking
Parking for these vehicles is located behind the stadium. Areas are marked off and parking attendants are on hand to help whenever needed.

Cameras and Video Equipment
Guests are permitted to bring cameras and video equipment into Greer Stadium provided that they are intended for personal use only. Taping of any game footage is strictly prohibited (please contact the Sounds' media relations department to request a press pass). Guests are not permitted to stand in the aisles, walkways, or obstruct others from viewing the game while taking photographs.

Carry-ins
No outside food, drinks or coolers are allowed in Greer Stadium.

Credit Cards
The Nashville Sounds Ticket Office and the Pro Shop accept Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and Visa.

Code of Conduct
The Nashville Sounds are committed to creating a safe, comfortable and enjoyable ballpark experience. Our staff has been trained to proactively intervene where necessary to help ensure a "Family Entertainment" environment:

  • Guests will enjoy the baseball experience free from foul/abusive language or obscene gestures
  • Intervention with an impaired or intoxicated guest will be handled in a prompt and safe manner
  • Guests will show their ticket when requested and sit only in their ticketed seat
  • Obscene or indecent clothing will not be allowed in Greer Stadium

EMTs
Emergency Medical Technicians are available throughout the ballgame to attend to any medical problems that may occur during your visit to Greer Stadium. If you are in need of emergency medical assistance, please alert an usher.

Family Section
Section HH located on first base side is designated as the Family Section at Greer Stadium. The serving and drinking of alcohol is prohibited in this area. To order Family Section seating, contact the Sounds Ticket Office at 615-242-4371.

Fan Mail
Letters to Sounds players should be addressed to them individually and mailed to Greer Stadium, 534 Chestnut Street, Nashville, TN 37203. If a response is desired, a self-addressed, stamped envelope is recommended.

Fan Conduct
The Nashville Sounds and our employees are committed to providing our fans with an enjoyable, safe atmosphere. Fans interfering with a ball in play and/or entering the field of play will face arrest and prosecution. Fans using foul language or appearing to be in an impaired condition will be asked to leave the ballpark. Additionally, fans must wear shoes at all times and anyone wearing obscene or indecent clothing will be denied entry.

Fan Relations
A Fan Relations area is set up on the concourse level near the main entrance across from the box office. They will be more than happy to help you with whatever you need while you are visiting at Greer Stadium.

Field Facts

  • Dimensions: LF 327', CF 400', RF 327' (8' fence from left field corner to batter's eye, where the wall is 24' high; fence from right-center to right field corner is 6' in height)
  • The outfield wall is two-tiered -- any ball striking the upper section on the fly is a home run, regardless of whether or not the ball re-enters the playing field
  • The playing field covers approximately 3.5 acres -- the entire stadium area sits on 26.1 acres
  • There are 8 steel light poles, 110 feet high, holding up the 176 light fixtures surrounding the ballpark

In accordance with Pacific Coast League rules, only authorized personnel with proper credentials will be permitted on the field before, during, or after a game or event. Any unauthorized person who travels onto the field will be immediately removed from Greer Stadium and subject to arrest and prosecution

For your safety, please be aware of bats and balls that may enter the seating areas. Guests are allowed to keep any baseball that enters the seating area as a souvenir. However, guests are not allowed to enter the playing area to retrieve balls or otherwise interfere with baseballs in play. Violators may be ejected from Greer Stadium.

Fun Zone
The Vanderbilt Children's Hospital Family Fun Zone is located adjacent to the main picnic area near the left-field corner. The Sounds provide a Fun Zone attendant but cannot be held responsible for the actions of children on the playground.

Gate Opening Times
All gates open 1 1/2 hours before game time for all home games.

Groups
For group outings of 20 or more, call the Sounds Group Sales Staff at 615-242-4371 and ask about the special benefits and discounts available exclusively for groups. Make your reservations early and get the best available seats for your organization.

Greer Stadium
Named for Herschel Lynn Greer, Sr. (1906-1976). Born in Dickson County, Tennessee, Greer made his mark in the financial business when he co-organized Guaranty Mortgage Company in 1940 and served as President and Chairman of the Board until 1969. Mr. Greer was an avid baseball fan and one of the organizers of Vols, Inc., a corporation organized to keep baseball in Nashville. He headed the drive to sell stock in Vols, Inc. (in which there were 4876 stockholders). He served as the first president of the Nashville Vols, which was successful in retaining a baseball club in Nashville for several years. In 1978, the city of Nashville and Sounds president Larry Schmittou posthumously honored Mr. Greer by naming the home of the Nashville Sounds "Herschel Greer Stadium."

Information Boards
The Nashville Sounds provide up-to-date information about Major League Baseball and the Sounds throughout the stadium.

Jerseys
Please check with the Pro Shop located behind Section MM or visit the Sounds online store to purchase a Sounds jersey.

Kids Club
Kids 12 and under are invited to join the Nashville Sounds Kids Club. Members receive a T-Shirt, monthly newsletter, Kids Club membership card, and an invitation to special events at Greer Stadium all summer long.

Lineups & League Standings
Starting lineups for the current game as well as current Pacific Coast League standings can be found next to the Sounds Souvenir Stand located behind Section NN.

Lost Items
Guests needing to claim or report lost items during a game should visit the Fan Relations Center on the upper concourse located behind Section MM. For items lost at previous games, a pickup time can be scheduled by calling 615-242-4371. Items lost at prior games are held for 30 days in the Sounds main office and then donated to an appropriate charitable organization.

Milwaukee Brewers
The parent club of the Triple-A Nashville Sounds. Milwaukee Brewers is a member of the National League's Central Division. Their office address is Miller Park, One Brewers Way, Milwaukee, WI 53214. Their telephone number is 414-902-4400.

Minor League
The Nashville Sounds Baseball Club is a Class AAA baseball team and a member of the Pacific Coast League. The Sounds are the Triple-A affiliate of the Milwaukee Brewers.

Mission Statement
The Sounds will ensure the success of Minor League Baseball by making the games affordable, the experience fan-friendly, and the ballpark a positive expression of our community.

National Anthem Performers
There will be an annual audition for anthem performers each year. The audition is usually held on a Saturday in March. Each performer will be notified if he/she has been chosen to sing the anthem at one or more of the Sounds ballgames.

Ozzie
The Nashville Sounds' mascot has been entertaining and educating fans of all ages in and out of Greer Stadium. Ozzie is always a fan favorite. Call the Sounds office at 615-242-4371 and ask about how to book Ozzie.

Paging
Guests will only be paged by the public address system in an emergency. Requests for paging guests attending the baseball game should be directed to the Fan Relations Desk located on the upper concourse behind Section MM.

Parking And Traffic Information
There is no fee for general parking at Greer Stadium and there are parking attendants located throughout the parking lots. Preferred parking for season ticket holders is located in the main parking lot and is designated by a number assigned to the season ticket holder. Season ticket parking is available for $200 for the entire season. Disabled parking spaces are also conveniently marked and are subject to availability with a valid state handicap permit. There is no additional fee for disabled parking. Parking passes must be displayed on the vehicle's dashboard while parked at Greer Stadium. All vehicles that take up more than one parking space (longer than 18 ft) are considered oversized vehicles and will be parked in the back parking lot.

Pets
Pets are not allowed at the ballpark for any event except for companion animals assisting a person with a disability.

Pro Shop (Souvenirs)
The Pro Shop is located behind Section MM. On game days, the Pro Shop is opened from the time the game starts until the game has ended. On non-game days, the Pro Shop is opened from 9:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m.

The following items are not allowed into Greer Stadium:

Publications
The Sounds have two publications available for purchase at Greer Stadium at the Pro Shop or at designated areas. The Sounds Program is a must for anyone who visits Greer Stadium. The magazine is filled with baseball information, interesting stories, Sounds and Brewers players and can be purchased for $3.00 at the Souvenir Shop and other designated areas. The Sounds Media Guide is a comprehensive reference book on the Sounds. The Media Guide sells for $10.00 and can be purchased at the Merchandise Store.

Public Transportation
The Nashville MTA bus line has a stop conveniently located at the entrance to the main parking lot at Greer Stadium. Click here for further information.

Rainout Policy
If the game has been designated as a rainout, then you can exchange your ticket(s) for those of equal value to any other game during the season, pending availability.

Radio Broadcasts
Nashville Sounds games during the regular season are broadcast live on Sports Radio 560 AM (WNSR) with Chuck Valenches as the play-by-play announcer. Valenches will be joined on the air by a color commentator for some of the home games played at Greer Stadium. Game broadcasts are also accessible at www.nashvillesounds.com.

Re-entry Policy
Guests may exit and re-enter Greer Stadium as long as they have their stub from their ticket.

Restrooms
Restrooms are conveniently located along the concourse by Concession Stand 1, Concession Stand 3, and Concession Stand 6 as well as by the Blue Picnic Area.

Retired Numbers
The Sounds have retired two uniform numbers in their history: Skeeter Barnes (00) and Don Mattingly (18). The number 42 is also retired throughout professional baseball in honor of Jackie Robinson.

Rules of Interest
Roster Limits - All Class AAA rosters will stand at a maximum of 24 active players throughout the entire season.

Qualifying Marks - In order to qualify for a league batting title, a player must have a minimum of 389 plate appearances. To qualify for an earned run average title, a pitcher must have at least 115.0 innings pitched.

Determining Batting Average - Divide the number of hits by the number of at-bats.

Determining Earned Run Average - Take the number of earned runs, multiply by nine, and divide by innings pitched.

Scoreboard
The guitar-shaped scoreboard is a fan favorite for all who come to Greer Stadium. It is 60' in width (guitar body), 36' (scoreboard/neck), 19.6'(turning key section). The height is 53' and depth is 24'. Visitors come out regularly to take pictures of this unusual scoreboard. It is considered one of the best in all of baseball. Tri-Vision advertising on the scoreboard (8' by 20') is also available.

Scoreboard Messages
Due to advertising commitments and game-related information, requests for personal messages and greetings are limited. Requests must be received by the 3rd inning of the ballgame. A fee of $10.00 (donated to Nashville Sounds Foundation charitable efforts) will be charged for all messages. Announcement requests will be accommodated subject to time constraints.

Security
In the event of a security problem, notify a member of security, a member of the Sounds staff, or report to the Advance Auto Parts Fan Relations desk behind Section MM.

Sections
Sections M,N,O,P, K, L are located behind home plate and are also behind the net. Sections Q,R,S,T,U,V are located on third base side. Sections A,B,C,D,E,F,G,H,I,J are located on first base side. Seats are numbered from high numbers to low numbers on the third base side and they are numbered from low numbers to high numbers on first base side

Service Animals
Service animals, as defined by the ADA, are welcome at Greer Stadium, provided they are accompanied by the handler and leashed at all times. Pets are not allowed.

Skyboxes
Skyboxes (suites) are a great way to entertain friends, family, business clients, everyone! Skyboxes are available for 10 or 20 people and include full food service. Click here for more information.

Smoking Policy
In an effort to accommodate all guests, smoking is allowed only in designated areas of Greer Stadium.

Spring Training
Nashville Sounds spring training will be held in Phoenix, Arizona in March at the Brewers' Maryvale Baseball Park. Click here for complete information.

Strollers
Strollers are permitted in all concourse areas at Greer Stadium. If a guest has a stroller that, once folded, will fit under a stadium seat, they should be able to take it to their seat. However, we are not responsible for the stroller if it is not in your care.

Tailgating
Tailgating at Greer Stadium is not allowed at any time.

Taxi Cabs
If you are in need of a taxi, please see one of the Sounds staff members and they will be glad to assist you.

Team Colors
The team colors for the Nashville Sounds are black and red.

Ticket Office Hours
On game days, the ticket office is open from 9 a.m. until the end of the game, Monday through Friday, and from 10 a.m. until the end of the game on Saturday & Sunday. On non-game days, the ticket office is open on Monday through Friday from 9 a.m. - 6 p.m. The ticket office is closed on Saturday and Sundays when there is no home game scheduled.

Ticket Prices
Individual ticket prices are $10.00 for all reserved seat tickets and $6.00 for all general admission seating when purchasing 24 hours in advance. Tickets purchased day of game will be $12.00 for reserved and $8.00 for general admission. Children two years of age and under do not need a ticket to enter Greer Stadium grounds. Ticket Resale/Scalping
Ticket resale and scalping will not be allowed in Greer Stadium or on the grounds of Greer Stadium.

Tryouts
All player personnel decisions for the Nashville Sounds, including tryouts, are conducted by the Milwaukee Brewers, our Major League affiliate. The Brewers' scouting department has a hotline used for distributing tryout information. Please call 800-234-6459 ext. 6850.

Umpires
There are three or four umpires per game at Greer Stadium, as provided by the Pacific Coast League.

Vendors
There are a number of vendors selling food and drinks during the Sounds baseball games.

Wheelchair Seating
There is specific seating for individuals in wheelchairs. Please contact our ticket office at 615-242-4371 ext. 2 for further details.

Will Call
The Sounds' will call window is located at the main ticket office and is the first window on the left. Tickets are left at this window and can be picked up using proper identification by the person's name listed on the will call envelope.
