The Nashville Sounds will be hiring several part-time employees for the 2008 baseball season. The Sounds play 72 home games at Greer Stadium from April to September. Part-time employees are asked to be available for each of these games, although they may not work all of them. Applicants must be at least 15 years of age (some positions require older applicants, as detailed below). See application information below.

The starting wage for all positions is a minimum of $5.15/hour, based upon experience.
Concessions - APPLY
Concessions employees operate and maintain our food and beverage areas. Concessions employees hours vary, but typically arrive one hour before gates open and work until their assigned stand is closed and clean. (approx. 4-6 hours)
Usher (18+ yrs. old) - APPLY
Ushers help Sounds fans find their seats, assist fans with general questions, insure fan enjoyment for all. Ushers are required to be at the stadium when gates open and work until the end of the game. (approx. 5 hours)
Stadium Operations - APPLY
Stadium Operations employees insure the stadium is clean and well maintained. Stadium Opearations employees visit each restroom and re-stock when necessary, dispose of garbage collected around the stadium, and sweep the concourses. Stadium Operations employees are required to be at the stadium one hour prior to gates opening and remain until the end of the game. (approx. 8 hours)
Merchandise - APPLY
Merchandise employees sell official Nashville Sounds merchandise in our souvenir store and concourse kiosks during the game. Merchandise employees usually arrive when gates open and available until the end of the game. (approx. 5 hours)
Ticket Seller - APPLY
Ticket sellers sell tickets to walk up on day of game and assist with giving out will call (pre-purchased tickets). Ticket sellers will be at either the first base ticket office or third base tickets office. Also helps with counting stubs at the end of the night. Usually arrives 2 hours prior to game and work until 7th inning. (approx. 4 hours)
Parking (16+ yrs. old) - APPLY
Parking attendants guide our fans into the parking lot and assist with efficient parking. Parking attendants arrive 1 hour prior to gates open and work until the beginning of the game. (approx. 3 hours)
Entertainment - APPLY
Entertainers assist with on-field contests, distribution of giveaway items prior to the game, and prizes & promotions during the game. Entertainers must have lots of enthusiasm and energy as they pump up the crowd. Entertainers arrive to the ballpark when gates open and work until the end of the game. (approx. 6 hours)
Picnic Hospitality - APPLY
Picnic employees assist our fans enjoying a pre-game picnic in one of our four picnic areas. Picnic employees help prepare the food, set-up and clean the picnic areas, and insure customer service during the picnic. Picnic employees arrive to the ballpark 1 hour prior to gates open and work until 2 hours after the game begins. (approx. 4 hours)
Vendor - APPLY
Vendors go through the stands selling concessions and souvenir items during the game. Vendors need lots of energy and ability to be heard during the games. Vendors arrive to the ballpark 1 hour prior to gametime and work until the 7th inning. (approx. 3-4 hours)
Grounds Crew - APPLY
Calling all baseball fans! Have you ever wondered what it would be like to work on a baseball field? Well this is your chance. We have positions available for game day help. Our groundskeeper, Pete Lockwood needs your help in preparing the field for the Sounds games. Your job will consist of tearing down Batting Practice, dragging the field, lining the baselines, marking the batters boxes, assist in watering the field, and doing the 5th inning drag! This is a chance of a lifetime to make new friends, learn skills that will motivate you, and feel proud to be a part of something really exciting. Baseball is back! If you think that you've got what it takes to work with the big boys, then stop by the stadium and fill out and application. (approx. 4-5 hours)
