  • Ranked as the Southern League’s #6 prospect and the Florida State League’s #4 prospect by Baseball America following the season
  • Participated in the 2006 All-Star Futures Game and was a Florida State League All-Star selection
  • Split the season between Advanced-A Brevard County and Double-A Huntsville; batted a combined .289 with 22 home runs, 77 RBIs, and 26 stolen bases in 118 games
  • Led the Brewers organization with his 22 home runs and ranked 4th in RBIs
  • Batted .328 (44-for-134) against left-handers and hit .272 against righties
  • Tallied 31 multiple-hit games and 18 multi-RBI efforts on the year

  • Homered in back-to-back games for the first time in his career on 4/25 vs. St. Lucie & 4/26 at Vero Beach
  • Participated in the Florida State League All-Star Game on 6/17 at Lakeland; went 0-for-4 with one strikeout and played all nine innings as the starting third baseman for the East Division
  • Excelled after being promoted to Class AA Huntsville on 6/22; boosted his average to .303, more than doubled his HR output from the Florida State League, and increased his slugging percentage by 151 points
  • Belted a team-best 15 home runs and drove in 40 runs over 59 games for the Stars
  • Led the Southern League in stolen base percentage, stealing a perfect 12 bases in 12 attempts

  • Led the Southern League with 51 total bases in July and finished 3rd with a .382 batting average (29-for-76)
  • Named Brewers’ minor-league player-of-the-month in July (.382, 4 HR, 12 RBI, 10 2B)
  • Produced career-high four hits on 7/4 at Birmingham (4-for-5)
  • Went 0-for-1 with a strikeout while playing the final two innings at third base for the U.S. squad in the All-Star Futures Game on 7/9 at PNC Park in Pittsburgh
  • Went 3-for-3 with four RBIs on 7/31 vs. Chattanooga to increase average to a season-best .321
  • Tied for 3rd among SL batters in August with seven home runs and 57 total bases
  • Homered in three straight games from 8/17-8/19, including his first career grand slam on 8/18 vs. Carolina
  • Recorded a career-best five RBIs on 8/18 vs. Carolina
  • Batted .241 (7-for-29) in the Southern League playoffs, where Huntsville lost to Montgomery in the finals; hit safely in each of the seven postseason games
  • Continued his season in the Arizona Fall League, where he was one of 22 players (and one of two 3Bs) selected to the All-Prospects team
  • Led the AFL with 16 extra-base hits, tied for tops with nine doubles, ranked second among circuit hitters in slugging percentage (.641), tied for second in home runs (six), and tied for third in runs batted in (25) while batting .326 (30-for-92) in 25 games for the Scottsdale Scorpions
  • Ranked 2nd in the circuit with a 1/15.33 HR/AB ratio
  • Committed three errors in 38 total chances at 3B in AFL play (.921 fielding mark)
